During a brainstorming session in July, the Lloyd DistrictDevelopment Strategy Steering Committee created two possibledevelopment plans as starting points. The plans are being furtherrefined and will be presented to the public on Aug. 22.

Preliminary goals for the area include:

-New, high-density mixed-use projects to take advantage of thearea's close-in location;
