With a recent IPO, 360networks inc. is currently buildings oneof the largest advanced fiber optic networks in the world.Specializing in optical channels, private line transmission,packet-based data and virtual voice trunking, 360networksanticipates that by mid-2002 the firmÕs network will consist ofabout 77,900 miles of fiber optic cable. This network will becapable of linking major cities in North America, Europe, Asia andSouth America through a combination of underground and undersealinks.
Completion for the project is scheduled for mid-December 2000.McClier is providing architectural services. Core Location is theproject developer.
