The Hotel Group, based in Seattle, completed the purchase lastweek. It bought the 9000 W. Airport Drive hotel in a joint venturewith Uniwell Corp. The Hotel Group operates the Radisson Hotel inFresno for Uniwell Corp.
The price paid for the Visalia Holiday Inn was not disclosed.Doug Dreher, executive vice president of The Hotel Group, saidplans for the next 18 months include "a multimillion dollar"renovation for the Visalia.
The Visalia Holiday Inn has 257 rooms, 22,000 square feet ofconference space and seating capacity for 1,600. The acquisitionalso includes the Pacific Grill and Breakers Lounge.
