CB Richard Ellis reports that Vishay Intertechnology Inc., a manufacturer of electronic components and semiconductors, has signed a lease with building owner Greenwich Place Associates for 7,177 sf. In a second deal, J.M. Layton, an insurance firm, took 7,200 sf. CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant and the landlord in the Vishay deal. The Stamford, CT-based firm spoke for the landlord in the J.M. Layton deal. Prudential Connecticut Commercial dealt for the insurance company.One Greenwich Place is a 55,00-sf office building, which was purchased by Greenwich Associates in December 1999. So far this year, several major commercial lease deals were negotiated at the complex by CB Richard Ellis, including a 27,000-sf deal by Greenwich Workshop and a 14,000-sf transaction by UNAPEN.
