"iProperty's Chorus is the type of application brokers have beenlooking for," says Mark Woodroof, chairman of HAR's for-profitsubsidiary, e-HAR. "iProperty will help my firm offer a higherlevel of service to my customers and we will make more money in theprocess" He says HAR, the nation's largest local association,investigated several transaction management systems before signingwith Chorus. HAR maintains the largest individual membership tradegroup in Houston. Its professionals represent every facet of thecommercial and residential components of the industry, includingleasing, appraisal and property management.

Chorus is designed to provide local and national lender choiceswith real-time components for compatibility with any MLS. Theapplication will provide alternative revenue streams for brokers,enabling them and realtors to make the most of the InformationHighway as a vehicle for doing business. The technology streamlineshome-buying processes while still allowing brokers to retaincontrol of the entire cycle.

In recent weeks, iProperty also has signed Southwestern IdahoRegional Multiple Listing Service Inc., based in Boise, ID; 9keys,a San Diego-based Coldwell Banker brokerage; and Bloomington (Ind.)MLS Inc., which serves the Bloomington Board of Realtors. iPropertyhas an integrated Web-based suite of applications tailored for realestate professionals, an industry that has jumped full force intoe-commerce possibilities for transactions. In March, the companymerged with Kansas City-based Risco, the nation's third-largest MLSprovider, taking its consumer base to more than 60,000 real estateagents in 44 states.
