Oltmans and Irvine-based R.D. Olson are using donated materialsand labor from their own firms and from hundreds of suppliers andsubcontractors for the facility. Completion is scheduled forDecember.

The 10-acre project, designed by Art Danielian of Irvine-basedDanielian & Associates, includes four seven-bedroom houses forabused and abandoned children. The houses were completed in May byCosta Mesa-based HomeAid America, founded by the Building IndustryAssociation of Southern California.

HomeAid Riverside, a chapter of the Costa Mesa organization,built the houses in partnership with William Lyon Homes, BeazerHomes, Forecast Homes and Richmond American Homes. HomeAidRiverside is developing the educational center in partnership withOltmans and Olson.
