The planned expansion will add 14 acres to the campus. Bayerplans to begin construction on two buildings initially, one 80,000sf and the other 100,000 sf.
The new buildings will make room for 300 employees and thedevelopment of a new drug. To win city approval, Bayer agreed topreserve a 160-foot brick wall on the campus that dates back nearlya century.
