In the near future, Conn's is slated to open a 26,500-sf storein South Brook Town Center at the intersection of Interstate 35 andWilliam Cannon. The Beaumont-based retailer is planning to expandits Austin holdings by opening five stores, typically in the15,000-sf to 25,000-sf range, say real estate brokers.
Conn's is one of the leading independent appliance and homeelectronics dealer in Houston, San Antonio, Golden Triangle inTexas and Lake Charles, Baton Rouge and Lafayette in LA. Realestate brokers say Conn's is attracted by Austin's robust economyas well as the area's per capita income.
