The new store is one of 10 that the company will open nationwidein September, bringing the total number of stores to 902. TheLivermore location will open Sept. 23 as Office Depot's 897thstore.
It will be located at the corner of Las Positas Road and ArroyoVista and employ about 40 people. The store is the first OfficeDepot in Livermore.
Other California cities on tap for a new Office Depot are Folsomand Studio City. Other locations will open next month in Arizona,Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Colorado and Texas.
