The former 38-acre, three-building Miller Hill complex in Lenoir, NC, owned by Singer Furniture Co., has been sold for an undisclosed price to New York-based Brookhill Redevelopment.

Brookhill plans to turn the site into a manufacturing and distribution center, potentially for furniture or other industries. The three buildings aggregately offer 250,000 sf.

Some of the surrounding Singer-owned property contains contaminated soil that Singer is obligated to clean up, according to Brookhill chairman Ronald Bruder.
