The latest example is nearby Pflugerville, where ground breakstoday on a $22 million, 350-unit apartment complex. The 36-buildingcomplex - 1825 Place - will be arranged in clusters of eight to 12units. The Colonial-style development is being constructed by CDHenderson.
The Greater Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce says the project isa result of increased housing demands by Austin workers. DellComputer Corp. in Round Rock and Samsung Austin Semiconductor LLPin northeast Austin are among the many employers who have beefed upworkforces this year.
