Starting Sept. 1, rental rates for the Alameda County-ownedbuildings will jump to $90/hour, plus cleaning and security forevents that involve alcohol. That's up from a range of $75/hour toa $450 flat fee for non-veteran users.
The Alameda County Board of Supervisors agreed this week toincrease rental rates. The decision affects veterans' buildings inthe Niles District of Fremont, Calif., as well as Hayward, Calif.,San Leandro, Calif., and Albany, Calif.
