The deal marks the third major project in the Texas capital forCarrAmerica, a Washington, D.C.-based real estate firm. CarrAmericaalso is constructing a 23-story, 418,000-sf office building atSixth St. and Guadalupe in downtown Austin as well as a 192,000-sfbuild-to-suit for Harcourt Inc. at Braker Pointe at the northwestcorner of Braker Lane and MoPac Expressway.

Riata Crossing consists of three existing office buildings fullyoccupied by EDS/NHIC and land to support the development of threeadditional two-story office buildings, CarrAmerica officials say."Riata Crossing is an excellent match for D.R. CarrAmerica's Austinportfolio includes 19 buildings containing approximately 1.5million sf of office space.
