The 8.7-acre parcel stands near Lindero Canyon Road and frontsthe Ventura (101) Freeway. Opus West will tear down Raypak's oldpool-heater manufacturing facility on the site to make way for thetwo new, two-story class A buildings.
It's the first major deal announced by Opus West's LA office,which opened only a few months ago. The firm's Orange County officehas grown to become one of OC's biggest real estate players.
The local office of CB Richard Ellis brokered the sale. Opus hasalso tabbed CB Richard Ellis to handle leasing duties at the newcomplex, which it expects to complete next summer.
