Chicago-based Landis makes plastic containers. Its new buildingwill stand on the corner of 83rd Avenue and Van Buren Street in thesuburb of Tolleson and house as many as 175 employees.
Phoenix-based Johnson Carrier is the project's generalcontractor. The far west Valley is a popular area for manufacturersand distributors because land prices are relatively cheap andthere's easy access to Interstate 10 and rail lines.
