Under the agreement, Braintree-based Campanelli is designing andbuilding the structure, and will sell it to NES upon completion inearly 2001. The 53-year-old real estate firm, which has developedmore than 10 million sf of commercial real estate in Massachusetts,is a specialist in industrial and build-to-suit construction.
Campanelli is currently erecting a 250,000-sf warehouse additionat its Middleborough park on behalf of the Christmas Tree Shops.Other ongoing ventures include a 380,000-sf distribution center atFort Devens Commerce Center for Webvan, an on-line grocerydistributor, and a 280,000-sf office expansion for the TJX Cos. inFramingham.
