The site, once the location of the Jefferson Davis Hospital, isjust west of downtown Houston. Architects Michael Graves ofPrinceton, NJ, and the firm of Pierce Goodwin Alexander &Linvilleof Houston will work together to design the structure. The270,000-sf building is scheduled for completion in about threeyears. The Federal Reserve Bank has outgrown its downtown buildingwhere it has been located since 1958.
