golf club company that will join the likes of Callaway andTaylorMade.Orlimar Golf, headquartered in the Bay Area city of Hayward,is scoutingseveral sites for a long-term lease and plans to move to"the heart ofthe golf equipment industry" within the next three tosix months, thecompany says. The firm already has a research anddevelopmentfacility in the North County city of San Marcos.

"The impetus behind the decision to invest in this move is to becloserto our suppliers and to be able to bring new products andinnovations tomarket more quickly and efficiently," says OrlimarCEO Bill Kirkendall.

Other golf-related companies in the area include industry giantsCallaway and Taylor Made.
