Lowry is being developed into a multi-billiondollar mixed-usedevelopment, the largest build-to-suit project in Denver. Therelationship between Janus and CarrAmerica began in 1998 in Austin,when Janus leased 51,000 ft for a new operations facility atCarrAmerica's Riata Corporate Park Since then, Janus has expandedits space to 200,000 sf at Riata Corporate Park.Janus' new Lowryfacility will house up to 2,500 Investor Services and Operationsemployees, many of whom are currently working at various offices.The Janus campus will eventually include up to 1.2 million sf ofoffice space. The 800,000-sf first phase will be completed in 2002.Janus will retain its headquarters in Cherry Creek, a tonyneighborhood three miles southeast of Denver's CBD.
