HOUSTON-Beeson Properties of Houston has begun construction on mixed-use project just west of downtown.

The 40,000-sf project is being constructed on a 1.3-acre site that was created when Beeson demolished a small office building on the land, which is located at the intersection of Allen Parkway and Waugh Dr. About half of the space in the two-story project will be devoted to retail space with office space taking the second floor of the building.
