The store includes a 40-foot tall mountain, with a trout pond,running waterfalls, 60-foot streams and even a beaver dam. The360°, walk-around mountain, called Animals of North America,features approximately 100 wild game mounts in their distincthabitats.

Another major display in Cabela's showroom is a 65,000-gallon,walk-through aquarium stocked with trout, panfish, game and trophyfish and predator species.

Greg Golab, the store manager, said the store took 11 months tobuild. The customer count has been a pleasant surprise. "I can tellyou that in the first weekend we had 206,000 people. On weekdaysit's been pretty steady at about 50,000 a day," Golab said. He saidhis company could not disclose the cost of the development.
