Although Ellington expects the university may eventually releaseadditional acreage on the adjacent campus for more R&D parkdevelopment, he is now planning construction on an FAU site just tothe south of Boca Raton at I-95 and 10th Street. in DeerfieldBeach. This tract totals 122 acres but can only be built out withanother 450,000 sf of R&D facilities because a portion of theparcel must be used for water-retention lakes. ColliersInternational in Fort Lauderdale is the leasing agent for bothparks.
