Roel has poured most of the 42,000 cubic yards of concrete fortheproject, which is the largest concrete structure to be built inSan Diego in thelast 30 years, Roel officials say.

The high-rise, being developed by Vancouver-based BosaDevelopment, reflects the confidence many builders have in futuredemand for housing in the central business district. Horizons willfeature two 25-story towers and is already 97% pre-sold, eventhough it won't be completed until next January.

The complex is bordered by Island Avenue, Market Street, FrontStreet andFirst Avenue. The five units that remain available startat $1.15 million each.
