DUBLIN, CA-City planners are reviewing plans for a Bay Area Rapid Transit train station, the Dublin Place shopping Center and the Village Parkway retail area.

The proposed West Dublin BART station would be located south of I-580. Planners envision that the station would have a 600-space parking garage with pedestrian bridges. The development includes a 240-unit hotel, 160 apartments and office space on BART-owned property just across I-580 in Pleasanton. Jones Lang LaSalle is the proposed developer.

Dublin Place would have a mixed-use retail space including a parking lot surrounding the shopping center, with direct links to the public library and senior center. The Village Parkway area includes the retail strip along Village Parkway, from Amador Valley southward.

Dublin’s planning commission will review the ideas on Sept. 26.
