DECATUR, GA-It’s only 15,000 sf, but in Decatur, that’s a lot of class A office space up for grabs.

Pope & Land Enterprises is moving fast on the total renovation of a two-story office and retail building, which it recently purchased next door to its Decatur TownCenter development downtown.

The $2 million project is a transformation of the building into loft office space targeted for e-commerce companies. Retail will remain on the ground level. The building should be ready for occupancy by the end of this year.

The town, a few miles due east of Atlanta, has just four square miles within its boundaries and 300,000 sf of class A office space. The vacancy rate is under 3%. Companies and professionals are clamoring to locate in the hip urban village. Available land and buildings are scarce
