HOUSTON-Stateside Enterprises of Houston is purchasing two retail centers, totaling 310,000 sf, in suburban Houston.

The larger center is the 247,000-sf Deerbrook Crossing located at US 59 North near the Kingwood community. It includes a vacant 20,000-sf space that was formerly used as a movie theater by Silver Cinemas. The movie space will be renovated into conventional retail space. The other shopping center to be acquired by Stateside is the Beechnut Village Shopping Center, a 63,000-sf project on Beechnut St.

The centers were purchased from an investment group led by Summit Commercial Properties. Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller. Belt International Realty Co. dealt for the buyer.
