Park Hill is a neighborhood east of the Central BusinessDistrict. Johnson & Wales University, a culinary arts andhospitality school, is buying the land and buildings of the currentCollege of Law, located on the campus' west side.

Johnson & Wales, based in Providence, RI, last summer paid$9 million for 13 acres and eight campus buildings at the corner ofQuebec Street and Montview Boulevard. Another large block of ParkHill campus buildings, occupied by the university's Lamont Schoolof Music, has been sold to the Denver Public Schools District for$7.5 million. The university is leasing the buildings until 2002,pending completion of a new performing arts complex at theUniversity Park campus.
