NEW YORK CITY-The British-based asset management firm Schroeders Investment Management North America Inc., which sold its worldwide investment banking business to Salomon Smith Barney in May, has signed a 15-year lease for new office space on Third Avenue, just up the road from their current location.

In late 2001 Schroeders will be transplanting their employees from their 30,000 sf at 787 Third Ave. to the 21st and 22nd floors of 875 Third Ave. The new address for the firm is owned by Boston Properties.

Richard I. Selig of Hunter Realty Organization, LLC was the principal who handled the lease for Schroeders, working with new executive manager Charles L. McQuillan, Jr. Boston Properties was represented by Andrew E. Connor.
