The Macfarlanproject is a 10-story, class A office building constructed in 1978,that totals 188,000 sf. Its major tenants are Triad Energy,Greenwood King, Butler & Hailey, Fireman's Fund and S.J.Bashen.

A Macfarlan partnership purchased the building two years ago,serving as property manager and leasing agent.Meanwhile, PostProperties' Midtown Square development has received recognition asbeing the most environmentally sensitive by the Sierra Club. Theproject uniquely blends shops, 479 apartments and flex green space.The project is two blocks from the Downtown and near the HoustonMetro Trolley line.The landscaping features New Orleans-stylecourtyards with outdoor fountains and gas lanterns. The developersare protecting the equivalent of nearly six city blocks of openspace in the suburbs.
