A report by Atlast Hospitality says San Jose will play host to19 new hotels. Some 5,070 hotel rooms planned for all of SantaClara County, according to the report, and another 4,223 hotelrooms are planned for San Mateo County.
With 480 rooms, the Hilton Santa Clara will be this year'slargest hotel opening in Northern California. It is the fourthlargest to open in the state, according to Atlas.
The group said that 10,043 hotel rooms are on tap for four BayArea counties, including the counties of Alameda and SanFrancisco.
