The two firms are known for their work individually and as ateam. Recently they have collaborated on the Rose Center for Earthand Space at the American Museum of Natural History in New York andthe planned William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library inLittle Rock, AR.
The Newseum is relocating from neighboring Arlington, VA,because it has outgrown its space. The proposed 476,000-sf complexwill contain 100 condominiums, the Forum's headquarters, aconference center and about 300,000 sf for the museum, which isdedicated to the press and First Amendment issues. It is expectedto cost about $250 million to build, including the $100 millionpledged to buy the site.
