The company will spend about $800,000 to build a 6,000-sfoffice/warehouse on a two-acre site. Controls & Instrumentationwill move from a 4,000-sf building in north Charlotte.
Convenience to Interstate 85 for shipping and receiving by truckwas one of the reasons the company chose the site.
Most of the company's employees live near the current northCharlotte facility. Construction on the new facility is scheduledto start later this year and be completed in the third quarter ofnext year.
