The proposed 30-acre Padden Center South would reportedly behome to a 150,000-sf "club warehouse" store. Padden North wouldinclude 330,000 sf of commercial development, including a homeimprovement store. Vancouver building officials could notimmediately be reached for further comment.

Others projects in the works include: a 142,800-square-footCostco store at the southeast corner of Northeast 20th Avenue and139th Street; Hazel Dell Towne Center, a 285,000-square-foot retaildevelopment anchored by a Target store at Northeast 90th Street,west of Interstate 5; and a 200,000-sf commercial project anchoredby a Target store at the northwest corner of Mill Plain Boulevardand Southeast 164th Avenue.
