Jean Farris, well known in Dallas commercial real estatecircles, has been selected for the new position. She has loggedmore than a decade in the profession, previously working in seniorcapacities at Fults Realty and most recently, Jones Lang LaSalleAmericas Inc.

Her duties will include overseeing leasing efforts at HarwoodInternational Center, a campus of class-A office buildings locatedin Uptown, between the Crescent and the new American AirlinesCenter.

"With one million sf already occupied and over 3 million sfavailable to support additional development, Harwood represents oneof the most exciting projects in the city," says Farris. The185,000-sf Harwood International Center Phase II at 2728 N. Harwoodin Uptown Dallas, was the first building in the nation to rate thehighest possible score of 99 on the Energy Star energy efficiencybenchmark, and the first in Texas to earn the Energy Star Label forBuildings. Harwood has been named the EPA Energy Star Partner ofthe year for 2000 and holds numerous awards for landscaping andenvironmental improvements initiatives.
