ATLANTA- Broadcom, an Irvine, CA-based telecommunications-related firm, has outgrown its 16,000-sf quarters at Chattahoochee Corners and leased 43,126 sf in a 57,600-sf building at the 925,000-sf park. The estimated value of the five-year lease is $2.9 million.

The lease brings the building’s occupancy to 75%, says Tom Silva, a representative of Lincolnwood, IL-based Alter Group, the park’s developer.

Broadcom is a lead partner in Georgia’s Yamacraw initiative, formed to attract broadband and telecommunications companies to the state and to provide trained workers for the high-tech industry.
