The 900-sf Metropolitan Improvement District station was broughtto fruition with donations and resources from several smallbusinesses and community groups that make the Pioneer Districttheir home. The facility will be shared by community groups andcity agencies, including Pioneer Square Community Council, MIDsafety ambassadors, a sub-police station, the city's graffiti taskforce and the state Department of Corrections.

The offices, supported by many business owners in the area, areexpected to make the area more attractive for businesses lookingfor retail or office space.
