Rebuild Presidio, a partnership between the US Department ofEnergy's Rebuild America program, the Presidio Trust and thePresidio Alliance will host the "Presidio of San Francisco EnergyChallenge 2000" on Oct. 12. The one-day event will includeprivate-industry representatives touring the Presidio's commercialbuildings to make energy-saving recommendations.
The Rebuild America Program seeks to educate communities aboutsmarter energy use.The Presidio event aims at maximizing energyefficiency for small businesses, and at serving as a nationalmodel.
