The $100-million lease is believed to be the largest signed inthe county this year. Under terms of the 10-year deal, tenantHealth Net will relocate about 1,700 workers from its currentheadquarters at a nearby complex into 288,000 sf at LennarPartners' new LNR Warner Center.

The two buildings Health Net will occupy are at the northeastcorner of Canoga Avenue and Burbank Boulevard, part of the$70-million first phase of the project that Irvine-based Lennarstarted on a speculative basis about a year ago. One of the twobuildings that Health Net will occupy is almost finished.Construction of the second only recently began, a Lennar spokesmansays, adding that Health Net will begin moving in late nextyear.

Health Net also took options for an additional 112,000 sf. Thehealth-care company was represented by Los Angeles-based Cushman& Wakefield. Lennar was represented by a team of brokers fromits in-house staff, Lee & Associates and consultants fromWindward Properties.
