DALLAS-In a spirited round of leasing activity, the Dallas office of Grubb & Ellis Co. has sealed deals on 68,829 sf of industrial space and 19,839 sf of office space in the metroplex.

The largest industrial lease has been signed between General Electric Co. and Trammell Crow Co. for a 51,000-sf warehouse/distribution site in the Riverside Business Center, 2920 N. Highway 360, in Grand Prairie. Grubb & Ellis represented General Electric and Trammell Crow acted on its own behalf.

Volvo Cars of North America is taking 5,429 sf of flex space from Crow Holdings Industrial Trust. The structure is located at 8401 Sterling, Commerce Park in Irving. Grubb & Ellis has acted on the lessee’s behalf as it did for On Time Texas Inc., which has signed for 12,400 sf of warehouse and distribution space at 1840 W. Airfield Dr., Dallas. The building is owned by AMB Institutional Alliance Fund I LP.

The Grubb & Ellis team has secured an 8,864-sf lease renewal of class B space at 8001 LBJ Freeway in Dallas between Bridgefarmer & Associates Inc. and landlord Nobel Service Corp., which was represented by Teakwood Realty Advisors.

Russell Reynolds Associates Inc. has signed a direct lease for 6,811 sf of class A space at One Lincoln Park, 8401 N. Central Expressway in Dallas while HJ Heinz Co. is taking 4,164 sf of class A space in a direct lease at Hedgcoxe Plaza, 4949 Hedgcoxe Rd. in Plano. Lincoln Property Co. has acted on its own behalf in the space assignment to Russell Reynolds while the John Bowles Co. has represented Hedgcoxe Gardner/Moore LP, owned of Hedgcoxe Plaza.
