SAN CARLOS, CA-Sun Microsystems has secured a 10-year lease for39,500 sf in Spieker Properties' new Skyway Landing developmenthere. The computer networking solutions provider will occupy thespace this December.

Skyway Landing consists of two, 3-story, 240,000 square footoffice buildings in a campus-style setting. The space SunMicrosystems is taking is in the recently completed secondbuilding. It had been preleased by InsWeb, according to thecompany.

Spieker Properties' Craig Vought could not immediately bereached for more details on the switch, the aggregate value of thedeal and remaining availabilities in the development. According tothe company's Web site, just under half the space is stillavailable.
