TriQuest is merging with another injection molding firm, PugetPlastics of Tualatin, Ore. In June, the companies said they wouldconsolidate operations at Puget's headquarters. Earlier this week,the companies announced they have instead set up in TriQuest's3.25-acre, 100,000-sf plant at 3000 Columbia House Blvd.

The facility consists of a 42,000-sf. molding operation,6,500-sf paint facility, 6,200-sf assembly plant, 3,000 sf cleanroom, 4,100-sf tooling operation, 32,000-sf warehouse and 10,000-sfadministrative offices. The announcement was made in a jointrelease issued by Sealaska Corporation and Arctic Slope RegionalCorporation (ASRC), co-owners of the new LLC.

TriQuest-Puget Plastics LLC is the largest injection moldingoperation in the Pacific Northwest. It has approximately 265employees. In the merger process, all employees from bothoperations were terminated, and hiring for the new LLC was donefrom that entire pool.
