Quadrant is constructing a two-story 100,000-sf building forDeVry, along with a 200,000-sf parking garage for students andfaculty. The technology institute is expected to open its doors inJuly 2001.
DeVry Institutes, a division of DeVry University in Chicago,purchased 11.5 acres of land for the new campus from Quadrant andChase Properties. The sale totaled approximately $3.6 million,according to Quadrant.
DeVry, which offers both associate and bachelor's degrees intechnology-related fields such as computer information systems andelectronics engineering technology, says it is attracted to theNorthwest because of its burgeoning high-tech industry.
