M&G's Finance and Capital Markets Group obtained thefinancing through Nationwide Insurance on behalf of the property'sowners, National Development of New England. Executive VicePresident Kevin C. Phelan and Senior Vice President Stephen M.Horan headed up the effort.

According to Phelan, impressive residential growth in theFranklin area during the past few years is creating the need forincreased retail. Forge Park contains approximately two million sfof commercial space, 160 units of housing, a full-service YMCA andan MBTA commuter rail station connecting the park with DowntownBoston.
