The building, built in the 1920s, is located in the 3300 blockof Allen Parkway, just west of Downtown Houston. Simmons Vedderplans to demolish the old building and construct a multi-storyresidential tower on the site.
The building's owner, WorldOil.com, is being represented by CBRichard Ellis. A number of multifamily developers have been buyingland and developing new projects on the periphery of DowntownHouston in recent months.
