Kirksey and Partners Architects of Houston are the designers ofthe eight-story building. Landry's currently has offices in thenearby Interfin Building on Post Oak Boulevard. E.E. ReedConstruction Co. is the general contractor of the building, whichwill have a reflective glass exterior. The building will also beequipped with a test kitchen.
Landry's operates 160 restaurants in 26 states with four seafoodconcepts: Joe's Crab Shack, Landry's Seafood House, The Crab Houseand Willie G's. The company also owns the 30-acre Kemah Boardwalk,a collection of restaurants and amusement parks rides in GalvestonCounty. Next door to the new Landry's building, Landry's chairmanTilman Fertitta recently built his Post Oak Motor Cars, a luxurydealership that sells Rolls Royce and Bentley automobiles.
