Parkbrought its brokerage expertise, whileMidwest Management broughtits management anddevelopment skills.

Park Commercial also brought to the merger itsaffiliate withChain Links, a national network ofretail real-estate brokers withoffices in 30 citiesnationwide."I think we can use that affiliationto serve localclients who are looking for more regional ornationalexpansion, or clients outside our area looking to comeinhere," Mosborg says.

The resulting firm, now based in St. Louis Park, MN,has about 18employees and focuses on the Twin Citiesmarket. Park Midwestmanages or leases about 1.75million sf of multi-tenant facilities,and its clientsinclude a variety of restaurant and retailchains.Mosborg is president-elect of the Minnesota ShoppingCenterAssociation. He was recently director of storedevelopment for GrowBiz International, a 1,200-storefranchise chain based in GoldenValley, MN.
