The headquarters relocation will be home port for up to 150 newhires over the next two to three years. The two-year-old Expanets,which provides telecommunications and computer consulting equipmentand services to small and medium-sized businesses, will immediatelyrecruit 30 to 40 people. The Meridian headquarters is in the samevicinity as Expanets' regional office, which services sevenstates.

Denver had been in competition with Boston, Dallas and Atlantafor the headquarters relocation. Meridian is the largest businesspark in the metro region. But, another contributing factor mostlikely was the firm's CEO, Jim Walker, who owns a home in thecity's tony Castle Pines development, situated south of thebusiness park.
