Site work is underway now and ground will be broken in thespring says Peter Burton, president of Burton-Katzman. Thebuildings will be built in two phases, with occupancy scheduled forearly 2002.

His company bought the 14.4 acres of land for about $500,000 anacre. Burton says lease rates in the two new class A buildings, tobe connected when they're finished for a total of about 360,000-sf,will be in the mid-$20s per-sf."With its proximity to Ann Arbor,the I-275 corridor has been very viable, especially in thetechnical and research fields," Burton says.
