Opponents also charge that the complex is going to be biggerthan it's supposed to be. Applied is going up 13 floors instead ofthe original 11, but company officials say they will keep to theoriginal height of 125 feet. The project will have 522 apartmentand 60,000 sf of retail and office space.

Hoboken human services director Robert Drasheff has called ameeting on Oct. 16 of all parties, including "every engineer on theproject." Applied has also asked OSHA to send someone to take alook at the site and report on health issues.
