City Reach International is developing a secure InterneteXchange facility at the park, now being outfitted for high-qualityaccess of broadband IT capabilities. Installation is due to befinished in early 2001. City Reach is developing a pan-Europeannetwork for B2Bs and business-to-consumer Internet applications.Under the pacts, companies will lease a portion of the Internetcapacity.

The French Secure Internet eXchange is located on the A1 toParis, less than five minutes from Charles de Gaulle Airport andseven miles from the heart of Paris. Ralph O'Dell, CEO of CityReach Europe, says a partner was needed who understood the businessto help clear administrative hurdles prevalent in France. "ProLogishas helped us every step of the way and will continue to work withus as we move toward becoming operational in the first half of nextyear."

ProLogis' expertise has led to more than 3.5 million sf ofbuildings being leased to Internet-related businesses, says RobertWatson, COO for ProLogis Europe. "So we understood the needs ofCity Reach and were able to help them establish and execute theirbusiness plan for Paris," he says.
